The Knowledge Catalyst Scheme
The Knowledge Catalyst Scheme| accesses funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC)| as part of its provision for knowledge transfer in the arts and humanities.
It enables organisations, usually employing fewer than 50 employees, to solve a strategic problem or to realise an opportunity, by forming a partnership with an experienced academic expert and a high calibre graduate.
Projects last for three to 15 months, costs vary depending on the length of the project but typically the AHRC grant contributes 60 per cent of the total project costs (on average £2,100 per month) and the organisation contributes the remaining 40 per cent (on average £1,400 per month).
