Textiles Tuesdays is a forum set up to stimulate innovative discussions about the textiles industry. This forum has also cooperated with the Alliance Project, Innovate UK, KTN Ltd, The Institute of Materials, Mining and Minerals, and Medilink EM.
The Business Breakfast Club hosted by The Leicester Castle Business School (LCBS), created as an opportunity to discuss some of the most critical challenges facing Leicestershire businesses today. On the agenda will be items such as skills shortages, the local economy, government policy, and investment and regional growth.
Access to The Innovation Centre business start-up events. Home to start-up businesses, The Innovation Centre hosts many free events aimed at individuals thinking of starting a business.
Industry Innovation Forums is a unique combination of industry and university innovators working together focused on developing innovative solutions around thematic areas such as textiles, energy and sustaibability and infectious dieseases. DMU academics provide the research, knowledge and skills to business needs, converting their knowledge into business solutions, new products or services.
#DMUlocal was created by De Montfort University to make a significant contribution to the social and economic development of Leicester and bring positive change across the city. #DMUlocal will be presenting and showcasing projects at the RBI Exchange Office on a regular basis.
