De Montfort University (DMU) offers businesses Higher and Degree Apprenticeships which bring together the best of university based professional and technical education.

Higher and Degree Apprenticeships will provide your business with the opportunity to train individuals who will work full-time in your organisation, while studying for a university qualification that is relevant to their job. Comprising of 80% on the job training, 20% off the job training.

As a university ranked Gold in the 2017 Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) we are committed to developing and delivering industry relevant Degree Apprenticeship programmes in line with employer needs and Trailblazer groups. We have a strong track record in delivering work-based vocational education to employees working in organisations.

Apprenticeships available

We are launching the Building Services Design Engineer Degree Apprenticeship in September. This will be delivered jointly by De Montfort University (DMU) and Leicester College.

Our current management programme the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMDA) supports the progression and development of your aspiring leaders and managers, or can provide the opportunity to inject fresh skills and enterprise by recruiting new talent. 

We are also offering the Cyber Security Technical Professional Integrated Degree Apprenticeship in September. This programme provides the technical skills and knowledge to ensure that apprentices can become competent and independent cyber security professionals.

The Digital and Technology Solutions Professional Degree Apprenticeship planned for September is designed for people and organisations looking to develop a broad understanding of the computing domain and how this fits into the wider business context.

We currently offer the Senior Leader Master's Apprenticeship which can accelerate development for strategic leaders and will expand knowledge and understanding of strategic business areas, and enhance organisational performance.
