Respiratory Care Masterclass


This DMU masterclass is for healthcare professionals who want to develop their knowledge and skills of respiratory care. 

Structure and content

This is a one day course. The morning will focus on the theory of assessment and management of asthma and COPD, with the afternoon looking at physical assessment skills of the general respiratory patient.

  • Explore Pathophysiology of Common Respiratory Presentations
  • Explore Community and Emergency Treatments of Asthma & COPD
  • Develop assessment skills in Respiratory Care

Any healthcare professional that has an interest in developing their knowledge of respiratory care.

Recommended prior knowledge

Before attending this course it would be useful to have worked with or be working with respiratory patients.
