Academic RegistryThe Academic Registry is a central service of De Montfort University. Its role involves admissions, enrolment, student loans and grants, exams scheduling and management, certificates, graduations and student timetables as well as overall management of the student and curriculum record, and the University’s undergraduate and postgraduate regulations. It works closely with Faculties in these activities. The Academic Registry also deals with student appeals, examination deferral requests and academic offence cases. The Academic Registry consists of the following areas which have the responsibility of carrying out these roles. The areas are: Academic Registrar's Office is responsible for Academic Board, Academic Appeals. Academic Offences, Deferral of Examinations and Student Complaints
International Admissions Office is responsible for dealing with applications of all students from outside the EU.
Student Administrative Support Division is responsible for admissions, enrolment/registration, re-enrolment, administration of student loans and grants, liaison with external bodies concerning student status, student record archive/requests. It also has responsibilty for examination administration and management and for work surrounding academic awards. In this capacity it is responsible for conferment of student academic awards, graduation ceremonies and provision of replacement certificates.
