Notice for the provision of 3D animation services

De Montfort University invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced organisations who wish to be considered for invitation to quote for the provision of 3D animation services.

The University is looking for the successful supplier to provide an effective 3D animation service to assist with the promotion of campus developments.

The service requirements are:
• the depiction and animation of new buildings, (to include exterior and interior) and new facilities.
• the files must be created in formats to suit both the web and DVD/CDROM, with the addition of layered stills for print.
• the University would also look to the bidders to provide suggestions for enhanced interactivity for each of the individual projects.

Development plans currently run until 2010, so the University is looking to form a long-term working relationship with the successful supplier following a satisfactory execution of the first year.  Performance will be assessed on quality of work, timeliness of delivery and value for money.

Quotations will be invited from a shortlist. The shortlist will be determined by evaluation of completed application form returned on or before the closing date and time: noon, 20 December 2007.
