Notice for construction works for the new Faculty of Business & Law Building

You are invited to express an interest in being considered for inclusion on a list of tenderers for the main building contract works for a New Faculty of Business and Law Building.

The new facility will bring together the Faculty of Business and Law into one building on the Leicester City Campus.  

The contract will be to carry out and complete the building works associated with the new building. Construction of a new concrete framed building on the Leicester City Campus which will provide accommodation for the delivery of teaching and learning, offices for academic and support staff and ancillary facilities.  The gross internal floor area is 14,500 square metres approximately and the estimated value of the construction works is between 18,000,000 – 20,000,000 GBP excluding VAT.  

The Form of Procurement will be traditional.  

The proposed date for the commencement of the construction works on site is early 2008 and the completion date is June 2009.
