Notice for Research Consultancy Services for a Community Health Research ProjectTender Ref 463You are invited to consider tendering for the provision of research consultancy services. The contract or contracts will be to carry out, in the UK, part of a large international study called Community Interventions for Health. The survey is part of a research project conducted by De Montfort University Schools of Business and of Nursing & Midwifery. The project is funded by the Oxford Health Alliance (OxHA), a charity based in the UK. The contract or contracts will be administered by De Montfort University at Leicester. The survey will begin with the baseline in September-October 2009 and will be followed up at the completion of the study in September-October 2011. The overall aims of the research are set out in more detail in a proposal document available at http://www.oxha.org/initiatives/cih The contract relates to that part of the research proposal concerning the survey fieldwork. De Montfort University needs assistance with two components of this project: undertaking the neighbourhood survey (n= 5600) and the scanning of all survey questionnaires including those done in schools, hospitals, health centres and workplaces (n=@ 21,400).
