Collaborative provision
De Montfort University's key values include a commitment to work in the wider community and to promote widening participation. The University's collaborative activity (specifically the UK provision) is therefore an important strand of the University's operation. DMU has a strong network of partnerships, most of which have developed over a long period of time.
This section applies to faculty-based collaborative provision only (as defined below). Separate guidance is available on provision delivered through the University’s Validation service (which is for existing DMU partner institutions). Please contact Quality Officer (Collaborative Partnerships) or Gurpal Singh with any queries or to obtain a copy of the guidance material. Details of the University's collaborative partnerships and provision can be accessed below along with the Department of Academic Quality's Guide to managing collaborative provision and other relevant documents.
In addition to the more general information below, there is also specific guidance on the development, validation, review and monitoring of collaborative provision which is available on separate pages, accessible below. Oversight of the quality management of the University's collaborative provision is done through the Academic Quality and Standards Committee.
For further information regarding collaborative provision, please contact Quality Officer (Collaborative Partnerships) for validation, review and monitoring activities, and Gurpal Singh for strategic matters.
