Oliver Mishcon joined the Board of Governors in September 2013. He sits on the Nominations Committee.
Oliver is an alumnus of De Montfort University, having gained an LLB (Hons) in 1990. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1993, appearing before the Lord Chief Justice on a landmark case within his first year of full qualification.
Oliver runs his own legal practice in central London and specialises in commercial disputes and business regulation. Most of his work involves advising and representing clients in the financial services sector.
Oliver is a member of The Financial Services Lawyers Association and the Association of Regulatory and Disciplinary Lawyers. He has acted in an editorial capacity on a number of legal publications, and is often asked to comment in the media on legal issues.
Oliver also sits on the Bar Council’s Access to the Bar Committee and has been involved in the governance of a number of charities and not-for profit organisations.
