This constitutes De Montfort University's policy on retention and progression. The purpose of the policy is to set out guiding principles which will inform measures and decisions the university needs to take in order to improve student retention and progression.
Proof reading for staff| and for students|

These documents provide guidance to staff and students about the approach the university takes towards proof reading, including encouraging the practice in students' own work and dissuading the use of third party proof readers who alter the student's work such that the authorial voice is lost.
Learning and teaching digest

Provides a digest of changes in learning and teaching strategies, policies and practices agreed each session. The purpose of this annual publication is to provide colleagues with an overview of key changes and how to get further information on those changes.
Please note that a digest for 2010/11 has not been published. This may happen later in the year when new strategies are ratified.
