All the undergraduate programmes offered through the LBR contract must be studied at level 6 (degree - previously described as level 3). If you wish to study at beyond this level De Montfort University offer a range of postgraduate programmes for nurses, midwives and allied health professionals. If you have not studied for many years or do not have any credits at level 5 (diploma - previously described as level 2) you will not be able to study any of the programmes below. Successful completion of the Return to Study module will enable you, together with three years’ experience in clinical practice, to apply for many of the degree level programmes below:

BSc (Hons) Specialist Community Public Health Nursing with NMC Registration
BSc Practice Education
BSc (Hons)/BSc Clinical Midwifery
BSc Prescribing/Non-Medical Prescribing (with NMC recordable qualification - V300)
Nurse, Midwives, Allied Health Professionals
University Certificate of Professional Development in End of Life Care
Nurses, Allied Health Professionals
BSc Practice Nursing
If you don’t want to do a particular programme you can undertake undergraduate stand-alone modules for continuing professional development purposes. If you already have a degree you and want to study at a higher level you can undertake postgraduate stand-alone modules.
