Macmillan Partnership
DMU has formed a partnership with Macmillan| which has exciting opportunities for volunteering and co-working.

The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning
The initiative got off to a good start with the first of a series of coffee mornings on 5 October which raised over £300. The theme of ”Great Bake Off” was highly popular with a prize awarded to Sam Johnson for her delicious chocolate cake.

Freedom for Birth
DMU was proud to be one of a thousand venues worldwide selected to screen the ground-breaking documentary ‘Freedom For Birth’. The 60 minute documentary that identifies poor maternity care as the world’s most pressing global human rights issue and features leading birth experts and international human rights lawyers all calling for radical change to the world's maternity systems.
