Allied Health Sciences
Outstanding facilities and exceptional teaching
The School of Allied Health Sciences has over 40 members of academic staff who provide education and training for our students, and the majority of staff are also engaged in research and scholarly activity in a range of areas mainly related to their professional roles. We offer programmes from foundation degree level through to professional doctorate. Members of staff are highly qualified with many having professional experience in a clinical setting.

Academics within the School, in collaboration with the Prime Minister’s Initiative for International Education (PMI2), have been chosen to strengthen the UK’s position as a leader in international education

In collaboration with Charity Freed UK, Biomedical Science lecturer Marilena Ioannou led a team to Nandom Hospital in Ghana to help improve medical resources the lives of their communities

Biomedical Science BSc (Hons) exchange programmes have been developed for Chinese students, in collaboration with Nanjing Jinling College
