DMU’s innovative Congress to Campus and European Parliament to Campus activities have been put in place in order to give students and local college pupils the opportunity for a first-hand insight into real life international politics.
Both of the conferences see former and current members of the US Congress and European Parliament join us on campus to discuss a range of trending political topics and answer questions from the audience.

European Parliament to Campus - Wednesday 24th January 2018
European Parliament to Campus will be held on Wednesday 24 January 2018 in the Queens building, room Q1.12.
This year we will be joined by three former Members of European Parliament (MEP); John Bowis, George Benjamin Patterson and Doris Pack. The MEPs will be discussing a range of trending political topics and answer questions from the audience.
The schedule for the day will be as follows:
10.00am: Welcome and Introductions
10.15am: Brexit means Brexit: the implications of Britain
leaving the EU.
