The records disposal policy outlines the purpose and practice of proper disposal of university records. The policy applies to all records created, received and maintained by staff of the institution in the course of carrying out their corporate functions. Records and documentation created in the course of research, whether internally or externally funded are also subject to contractual record keeping requirements.

The records retentive policy outlines the framework for establishing retention periods and managing the retention of documents to meet corporate and legal requirements.

Research records retention 

The research records retention policy addresses the creation maintenance and disposal of research records. It applies primarily to funded projects but it is god practice to follow the principles outlined in relation to the conduct of any research.
