Accreditation of Prior Achievement| is where achievement can be academically acknowledged or credit received for previous qualifications and experience. Relates to AAS|, APL| and APEL|.

Academic Professional Development| support and offer development opportunities to all staff.

Accredited Prior Experiential Learning| is where credit is awarded where the previous learning did not itself carry credit or was not part of the recognised programme. Relates to AAS|, APA| and APL|.

CPC Collaborative Provision Committee| is responsible to Quality Assurance and Enhancement Committee| for maintaining an oversight of the university’s academic partnerships and collaborations. DMU

Council of Validating Universities| specialises in good practice and standards concerning the validation of programmes by universities and colleges for delivery by other colleges or organisations (collaborative provision).
