Module achievement data

The module achievement report dashboards (sample below) show module pass rates, average module marks and standard deviation trends across academic sessions. Full mark analysis data is included for the current year. The reports cover both undergraduate and postgraduate provision, all modes of study, and support reporting for all types of provision. Performance may be compared in various ways including across programmes, cohorts, and campuses etc.

Using module achievement data

Module achievement data can be viewed for individual modules for Module Enhancement Plans (MEPs) for example, and collectively for Programme Management Board (PMB) consideration, Programme Appraisal and Enhancement (PAE), and periodic review. Analysis may include trends over sessions and whether performance is on the incline or decline; scrutiny of pass rates, reporting where these are below the university's benchmark thresholds; and consideration as to whether a particular population of students has had an adverse effect on performance.
