CRS Update 'Sharing Good Practice'

DMU academic colleagues who wish to act as supervisors for research degree students are required to complete the university's Certificate in Research Supervision  (CRS) course. In addition the university needs to ensure that all supervisors are up to date with new initiatives brought in recently. To this end Higher Degrees Committee agreed that all supervisors should attend the CRS Update 'Sharing Good Practice' session on a 3 year cycle.

These will be lunchtime events. The sessions will focus on a series of case studies based on real examples in which supervisors will be encouraged to discuss their own similar experiences and identify effective solutions.  The sessions will also provide information on recent changes in research degree procedures and student monitoring. The sessions will be held on the dates and times below and a working lunch will be provided.

BOOKINGS: please click here.

If you cannot make any of these dates then please email and ask to be added to the waiting list.  You will then be kept informed of future dates as they are agreed.
