BBC

The BBC Academy provides exceptional training for people working in, or hoping to work in, the broadcast industry.

In their second and final years, our BSc Media Production students spend two weeks a year at the academy, learning invaluable techniques and methods from tutors at this internationally recognised centre of excellence.

The partnership between DMU and the BBC means that students get extensive practical experience that is unrivalled by any comparable course.

The partnership has had excellent results, with many graduates going on to have exciting, fulfilling careers in the broadcast industry.

The BBC Academy is based in Wood Norton, Worcestershire.

Members of the International Centre for Sports History and Culture have also teamed up with BBC Radio Four to produce a 30-part documentary series on the history of British sport, presented by Clare Balding.

The series will be broadcast in 2012.
