One of the great advantages of a KTP is the benefits they extend to all parties involved, be it the company, the university or the associate. Below are some of the advantages participants can expect to benefit from should they take part in a project.

  • Academic from De Montfort University to provide expertise and technical advice and mentor the associate
  • Highly skills and motivated graduate (associate) to spearhead the project
  • Access to university facilities
  • Government funding covering up to two-thirds of the project costs (up to £40,000 per year)
  • Access to fully funded project budget covering: training (£2,000 per year), travel (£2,250 per year) and equipment (£1,500 per year)
