DMU to host Quality by Design Symposium

QBD1De Montfort University Leicester (DMU) will play host to the sixth Quality by Design Symposium on Wednesday 21 March.

The event brings together academics, regulators and experts from the pharmaceutical industry to share the latest research and implementation of Quality by Design (QbD), which is a scientific approach for the development and manufacture of medicines and healthcare products.

The symposium will be organised by the Leicester School of Pharmacy and will be held at The Venue@DMU. This year it will focus on ‘Medicines Manufacture: Road Map to Innovation’.

The programme will cover the latest Quality by Design news from academia, the use of innovation and technology, success stories and examples of Quality by Design in practice. It also provides an opportunity for industry professionals to network and learn from senior leaders in the field.

Speakers at the event include experts from major companies such as Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline and AstraZeneca as well as academics from DMU, University of Cambridge and University of Greenwich.
