The Venue@DMU - events and conference centre at De Montfort University

The Venue@DMU is De Montfort University's state of the art conference and events centre based near to Leicester city centre.

The centre offers a versatile hall space which is ideal for large scale conferences, exhibitions, award ceremonies and performances. In addition, our centre contains two conference rooms for initimate meetings, workshops and presentations.

Available for hire at selected times throughout the year, the centre also hosts major university events such as graduations and student welcome ceremonies.

Main Hall

The main hall space at The Venue@DMU is 45m long and can be utilised as a single space or split into three sections using accoustic partition walls.

With access to freestanding tables and chairs and rectratable lecture theatre seating, the space can be set-out in a variety of layouts to suit any requirements.

Also containing state of the art technical equipment, we will work with you to ensure your event looks and sounds spectacular.

Conference Rooms

Our two conference rooms have a flexible layout, offering an ideal space for meetings, workshops and presentations.

Both spaces contain state-of-the-art AV Projection equipment, WI-FI Access and the use of a teleconferencing phone and flipcharts if required.

A mezzanine balcony situated on the first floor acts as the perfect setting for refreshments and networking during an event.
