DMU Confucius Institute Summer School

Confucius Institute
19 (10:00) - 23/06/2017 (16:30)

This summer, DMU Confucius Institute is offering everyone (including all DMU students, staff and all members of the public) a fantastic opportunity to take part in a FREE summer school to learn Mandarin and explore Chinese culture on campus.

Students will study two hours of Mandarin every day during the week and by the end of the course will feel comfortable using survival Chinese to communicate with Chinese people. Unlike other Mandarin courses, DMU CI Summer School will mainly focus on the practical usage of Mandarin in daily life.

Additionally, students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of traditional Chinese art forms such as Tai Chi, calligraphy and tea ceremony. Other highlights include having a go at Chinese musical instruments and tasting Chinese food.
