Personal profile

Dr. Pooneh Bagheri Zadeh is a senior Lecturer in Computer Science (Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity) at De Montfort University in Leicester, UK. She received her MSc and PhD degree from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2004 and 2008 respectively. She continued her career in industry, working on real-time embedded video analytics systems. Dr. Bagheri Zadeh then moved to De Montfort University, and worked as a senior research fellow on an EPSRC project in stereo vision and 3-D reconstruction. She then joined Staffordshire University as a lecturer in computer forensics and security and later as a senior lecturer at Gloucestershire University.

Her research interests cover a wide range of topics including: Computer Vision, Digital Forensics and Security, Image Processing in Digital Forensics, Mobile Forensics, Image/Video Processing and Compression, Stereo and Multi-view Image/Video Processing, All aspects of Video Analytics, Image/Video Resolution Enhancement Techniques (Super-Resolution) and Hyper-Spectral Imaging.
