Sarah Malone

I have worked in the area of technology and learning for more than 10 years, and have a particular interest in developing innovative solutions with a user-centric approach, bringing together the research findings from my PHD with my professional experience in both the commercial and academic sectors.

I lead the Research Development team, and primarily support academics and companies in the preparation and submission of innovative, commercially focused proposals to funders of university/industry research collaboration.

I also facilitate the university’s engagement with research funders such as Innovate UK and the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR), providing targeted support and intelligence across the four faculties.
