Has experience in a wide variety of marketing settings, including the design and delivery national communication campaigns (online and offline), including running campaigns for national businesses, increasing brand equity, customer base and company profitability. Re-branded and re-launched national recruitment chains, run large business and conference style events. Utilises Microsoft Project, Prince 2 project management skills and has gained excellent business problem solving abilities.
The role Research, Business and Innovation Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for creating and implementing the ‘Research, Business and Innovation Communications Strategy’ to maximise the ‘impact’ and effectiveness of ‘DMU Research, Business and Innovation ’ for both internal and external audiences.
Leading the web strategy for Research and Knowledge Transfer within the university is a key priority. This is seen as a vital strategic interface role to ensure we exploit to best advantage the exciting innovations and outcomes that result from our research and knowledge transfer activities across the university.
