Dr Lynn Furber works at DMU as a part time Senior Lecturer within the School of Nursing, and she also works part time as a Senior Research Nurse within the Oncology directorate at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. Lynn’s research interests all aspire to promote personalised care for patients, particularly within the medical consultation and the study of communication and interaction in the practitioner patient encounter, particularly in regards to the delivery of difficult and sensitive information.
