Personal profile

Phil Almond is Professor of Comparative Employment Relations and coordinator of the Contemporary Research on Work, Organisations and Employment (CROWE) Group.

His research focuses on: 
- Multinational companies and employment relations 
- Local and regional strategies for attracting and retaining FDI 
- Comparative HRM and comparative capitalisms 
- How actors within and around international firms seek to gain the capacity to develop and work in international environments


Teaching

International HRM; undergraduate dissertation module; supervision of student dissertations at undergraduate, MA/MBA/MSc and PhD levels.
