Beverly Vickerstaff is Head of Quality in the Faculty of Business and Law working to ensure the quality of the academic provision across the Faculty whilst supporting the Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance to successfully run one of the largest Accounting and Finance Departments in the country. The development of the Department has been underpinned by its outstanding teaching record and excellent exemption profile. Beverly commenced work within the Department as a part time member of the team prior to taking up a full time position as a Senior Lecturer. Over the years she has acted as module leader, programme leader personal tutor, placement supervisor, admissions tutor, undergraduate provision co-ordinator, PSRB co-ordinator, peer observer, international collaboration development advisor, Principal Lecturer, graduation reader and Acting Head of Department. Prior to commencing her academic career Beverly worked within the profession and within industry as an accountant. She has three grown up daughters and two Grandchildren of whom she is exceptionally proud.
