Personal profile

Senior Lecturer in HRM & Organisational Behaviour. Andrew has 12 years of industrial experience working in a range of positions related to human resources, organisational development and industrial relations, working with large and small companies in both the public and private sectors. He has also been teaching at universities since 1993, teaching sociology and HRM courses. Andrew completed his Ph.D. at Warwick Business School in 2004. He teaches mostly on undergraduate courses, including Introduction to HRM; Employability, Professionalism and Academic Study Skills; Resolving Individual Disputes in the Workplace; and HRM in the Workplace, and is module leader for the first three of these modules.  He also teaches People Management Within the Workplace and Alternative Dispute Resolution at post-graduate level, as well as supervising undergraduate and post-graduate dissertations. Andrew is also the Academic Head of the Placement Unit within the Faculty of Business and Law, and is tutor to a number of students on HRM-related work placements.
