Personal profile

Dr. Adel Hatami-Marbini joined the Department of Strategic Management and Marketing of De Montfort University (DMU) in 2017 as a Senior Lecturer in Business and Management. He has been also engaging in a research project about the renewable energy market at the University of Liege in Belgium. Prior to joining the DMU, Adel worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Université catholique de Louvain (UCL) along with being an adjunct professor at the University of Namur and UCL. His fellowship was funded by the Belgian National Fund for Scientific Research (French: F.R.S.–FNRS). He also visited Aston Business School, Technical University of Ostrava, University of Seville, American University of Beirut and Virginia Tech.

He has published around 50 research papers in a variety of scholarly academic journals including European Journal of Operational Research (ABS List 4), Omega (ABS List 3), Expert Systems with Applications (ABS List 3) and Journal of the Operational Research Society (ABS List 3), among others and has regularly presented his work at various national and international conferences.
